About This Test
Who Is This For?
If you're in Buenos Aires and experiencing symptoms like high fever, severe headache, body aches, or skin rash — or if you've recently been bitten by mosquitoes and want peace of mind — this panel is designed for you. Dengue is endemic in parts of Argentina, and early detection can make a real difference in how the infection is managed.
What Does This Screen For?
This panel covers all three stages of dengue detection. The NS1 antigen test detects the virus in the first one to five days of infection, when symptoms usually begin. The IgM antibody test identifies a current or very recent infection, typically detectable from day five onward. The IgG antibody test reveals past exposure, which is important because a second dengue infection can be more severe than the first. Together, these three markers give you a complete picture of where you stand.
